Voiding Warranty
Tomorrow i will be purchasing a Cool Air Intake and i was wondering if it would void the warranty. Also I was wondering what mods void the warranty because I am looking to drop the car a little bit and get a new exhaust and would they also pass inspection?

Anything that has something to do where after market part was installed they can blame i on the aftermarket part. Like for intake MAF sensor, lowering struts, and fOr exhaust oxygen sensor. I remember friend of mine had 20s on his gs and hit a bump. He broke his ball joint. When he wen't into the dealership the manager came up saying its the big rims that caused he, he gave the guy $50 and they covered it. When i roll into the dealership i am stock expect exterior stuff like tints n visors.

dealer wont void warranty on almost anything unless its electrical. For example tapping into amp wires and now your amp doesnt work or navigation ecu. If you have after market rims and you broke a tire sensor when it went flat or broke when hitting pot hole, they might not warranty that also. Breaking a tire sensor with runflat tires is soppose to be impossible. Dealer just replaces the part and marks it if lexus wants to inspect it. If you have extended warranty and the clame is over 1K then an adjuster has to come in to take pictures, they will refuse it.
