Default Bluetooth Phone Registry Problems

Hi:

I have a 2008 GS350. When I got the car in January, my old blackberry connected without a problem. Saturday I purchased a new 3G Blackberry Torch. It will not connect to Bluetooth. I deleted all the old phone info, restarted car, clicked "register," input the passcode into the phone, and - nothing.

Am I doing something wrong here that anyone can point out? Don't I just put the passcode into the phone and the phone is just supposed to connect?

Thanks for all suggestions.

PS: To the "Search Engine Is Your Friend" **** - I have, and could not find an answer to this question, so spare us, please. Thanks.

This might sound like a dumb question but is the blue tooth turned on on your phone?, maybe try another phone to make sure what the problem is, either thevphone or the car

I know on the lexus website they have a bluetooth icon similar to the service icon. U can click on that and then select your vehicle and select your phone and see if it is compatible. If it is, it pulls up the features that will work. Hope that helps

To clarify, its under owners resources. And then the same place you can look up your vehicles service history.
