Default Plain, ordinary wheels for my new GS

I would like to go in a less sporty direction with a set of staggered 19" wheels but everywhere I look online is all about a sportier look than I would like.

I like the plain look of these OEM 18s:

But I want something staggered and in a 19" setup.

What tdizle has here (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...different.html) with the 19x8.5 +30 front / 19x10 +38 rear seems to sit so nicely I might just blatantly rip off that setup, but ideally I would like some wheels that are more unadventurous.

Any suggestions out there? Just FYI, I'm in Canada which might make some options unavailable to me.

Thanks

I have the optional IS wheels "ISP Mode" on my 3GS and they look good while still remaining understated and "classy". They are only available in 18s though, but I find that enough for my car which I have no plans on ever lowering.

Unless you can find a dealership that wants to get rid of them for a low price (as I did) they are too costly for what they are, though, just basic wheels with a nice finish.

Other threads suggest that the TSWs are not the greatest wheels you can buy.

Are the MRRs higher quality? Some sites are selling a 8.5F/9.5R setup but don't list the offsets and the manufacturers site doesn't list the 9.5 at all.

Should I just drive to a wheel shop and see what they say?

Yes they are, and I would agree the MRR wheels are great, here is the site http://mrrwheels.com/wheels.html

I have MRR wheels in 19" and am very happy with the quality and fitment. The offsets were perfect even on a lowered GS.

The only reason I installed spacers was because I wanted a more aggressive stance! And I paid the price for that with rubbing and tire damage!

Otherwise, wheels and B2D were perfect!

Probably going to do 19" MRR HR2, but I'm going to see what else is out there in person this weekend. I wish the MRRs didn't have that signature on one of the spokes! Argh!

Do you have the OEM 18"? Would you like to sell them?

Vossen offers this 5 spoke in a 19" staggered setup our VVS084. It comes in two finishes to choose from.

We do offer the new CV3 but its a slimmer 5 spoke in a 20" finish.

Not our brand but the 19" TTE wheel that is discontinued is similar to the OEM wheel. Just trying to help.

Good luck!

I like the MRR H2 classy looking wheel. I highly recomend B2autodesign Adrian has been very helpful with several purchases of mine. I also have Vossens and they make a great product, and seem to stand behind it. I would do some homework on the vendor you use I just got screwed around by one and waited 6 weeks for wheels that were never ordered so just beware . I have dealt with B2 1/2 a dozen times an never a issue.

I appreciate the response.

I'm really not going for anything that has the look of a multi-piece wheel, multiple colours, deep lips, and so on. I want something kinda mellow.

The frustrating thing is that - aside from two or three designs that people have pointed out - there is no alternative.

Going to a shop on Saturday to see what they have in person. The guy on the phone promised a stock look.

Edit:
This isn't bad: http://www.vossenwheels.com/wheels/VVSCV3.aspx

Nothing in a 19" though. Plus I have rusty rotors lol

Those TTE wheels look amazing. Seems you're right though - discontinued. Damn.
