I don't know if anyone ever thought to do this, but the 07 GS350 I just bought had the Vaistech iPod interface installed and I wanted to add Sirius or XM. I was just ready to order the kit from Sewell and a lightbulb went off in my head. I have the Sirius/XM app on my iPhone 4 and was thinking, maybe if I hook the iPhone up to the Vaistech, I could play the Sirius/XM app through the Vaistech. I wasn't sure if the iPhone could output audio through the port other than the iPod app, but guess what, it works ! When you connect the iPhone, it starts playing the iPod,then you open the Sirius/XM app and hit play on any of the channels and it takes over the iPod audio. I already have a couple Sirius accounts so it only costs me $2.99 a month to have the app on my phone. Is this worth a stickie under tips and tricks maybe? The sound is very good through the ML by the way, if anyone was wondering.
