I had a pair of PIAA Super Cobalt D2R bulbs in my ES and they were awesome (but expensive). I was just wondering what I will do when the stock bulbs finally go. Just curious if anyone is running PIAA or has had any problems.

I have read all the threads talking about Garax and Philips bulbs, but no one has mentioned PIAA. PIAA has the Super Cobalt in D4S and D4R at 6600K. Maybe too much money, eBay has them for about $350/pair.

I don't recall anybody ever mentioning them before. PIAA stuff tends to be overpriced IMO.

I just picked up a pair of PIAA d4S 5500 bulbs. Just haven't had time to swap them yet. I currently have Philips 6K in there now and really like them so not really motivated to take them out just to see how these PIAA's look. But I am curious so when work slows down I'll try to get to it and post review. I'm a HUGE Philips fan as well as PIAA so this will be interesting.
