I went with the Garax 8000k. I live in DFW and roads are plenty lit. I'm not living out in the countryside where there are no street lights so 8000k is plenty of lighting. Plus I love the white/blue lighting vs yellow.

I replaced mine with the GARAX 6k and love them well over stock. I actually seem to think they put out more light than stockers. I'm running rebased phillips 5k in my IS300 and my Supra and to be honest, the Garax output seems to be the same just a tad more blue.

I can already say it is 99.99% FAKE PHILIPS bulbs.

Show us how do they look like, the package and everything.

I am an authorized dealer for PHILIPS. I think I can give some opinion.

I feel upset for those people who bought the fake one and pay 2 bills to those bad seller.

There is just another thread pop up, posting a ebay link again and another seller who sell fake one on the internet.
Sigh........

With the higher price of the Philips, are they that much better than Garax?

I am guessing the 299 is a higher version of Philips, not the standard HID for 199. It is made in Japan vs this one in Germany
