anybody runs with 225/35/20 in the front?
after i bought a set of 20" rims
i've had a rubbing issue with 245/35/20 all around
so i went back to local rim shop to shape the liner in the back and
replace tire size to 225/35/20 in the front
now i don't have any rubbing issue but i feel the handling is too smooth
does anyone runs the same size set as me?
any command for this set?
one thing i don't understand is
it seems like a lot of people here running with 275-295 in the back
with no rubbing issue but i wonder why i had the issue with 245
is it because of 245/3520?
instead of 245/30/20?

Did you mention the wheel width?
Less wide tires are actually less prone to hydroplane and they will make the car feel lighter. There is the same power but less contact patch so it may seem more fun and easy to slide the rear out. However at high speeds the car will seem less stable since there is less tire on the road.

Im running 225/35/20 (20x8.5 +40) Continental DWS on the front to match 265/30/20
(20x10 +40) in the rear. I have no issues with rubbing olowered on Tanabe DF210 springs. I feel the Continental tire is a great All-Season tire thats rated for mainly rain and snow, i roll it all year round in Seattle! This is a slightly larger tire compared to the Falken FK452 i had before on these same rims.

im running 245/35/20 all around, and i do have some slight rubbing, only when i reverse with wheels turned all the way. i ordered over spec tires because i needed little more protection for my wheels. ur rear rubbing issue is most likely the offset. with coilovers, my rear wheels were tucked in nicely with no gap to spare, and no rubbing issues whatsoever.. front was different story though, there was major rubbing where front bumper and fender meets..

I don't know it's kinda more fun to drive in a sense but at the same time with high speed on freeway i feel less safer. I was gonna switch up to 235/35 or 235/30/20 when my front two tires run out lol

You are absolutely right ! the car feels much lighter but at high speeds the car seems less stable wow you know what's up
