Loud squealing noise when braking after replacement
Just got my pads and rotors replaced a month ago, and now I hear a loud squealing noise when I'm braking. It happen the most in the first couple miles I drive the car. After a while it goes a way. Then it comes back again the next day when I go to work. The sound is really embarrassing... Any ideas?

same problem here after getting the TSB done by the dealership.. Only does the loud squeeking noise for the first mile or so then it goes away until I drive the car again about 10 - 12 hours later. Tired of bringing it to the dealership.. I honestly just accepted the problem already

I have/had the same issue. I bought the vehicle a few weeks ago as a CPO'd car with ~40k miles. The vehicle history states the rear brakes were replaced and the fronts were assessed as fine.
The squealing does occur more within the first few miles of a commute. It was annoying so I brought it into my local Lexus dealership. I was told there is a service bulletin on this issue and the pads and rotors will be replaced at no charge. I guess I will find out tomorrow when I go to pick it up.

I had the same problem when I bought my Lexus. I was so embarassed cause of the loud squeal, I used to try and break way before I reached the intersection so people wouldn't look at me. I wound taking it to dealership twice. Finally the gave me new rotors & brake pads. It's a common problem cause a friend of my mine have the same issues.
