Amber Corner Reflectors Inside Headlights
Im new to the site But I Just Picked up a new 2011 Gs 350 a few weeks ago and I'm ready to start making some ***** happen for the transformation on this car. So I wanted to know if anyone has or know where I can get my hands on the Amber reflectors inside the headlight. Im just looking for the reflectors pieces. I tried to call lexus and you have to buy the whole headlight unit. They do not sale just the reflectors. I want to use those to make a mold so I can make them in clear. I have tried to contact body shops seeing if anyone has brought in a gs with front end damage so I could possible have them or buy out of the headlights. But No Luck so far with body shops or the pick your part junk yards either. I don't want to remove the ones out of my headlight just yet. I want to make sure it is possible to fab clear ones first.
Please let me know if anyone has any thoughts on this or knows where I can buy them. Or may be someone has already thought about making clear reflectors and has made them and wants to sale me a pair.
Thank you

I get what your after and like the idea, but in order to be legal, I think you have to have amber lenses in the front corners or front sides. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bump for this... I'm considering picking up a 3rd gen..and find orange sidemarkers/corners hideous.. Has NO ONE in 5 years (that this car has been out) removed the orange side-marker yet? .. If I get the car, I'll let you all know how it goes, as it will be one of the 1st things I do...
**Edit: just found an example or two: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...headlight.html
**BUT does any1 have any recent pics of this done, and who did NOT blackout the headlight.. I want to see how the chrome housing looks missing the orange reflector... to gauge whether or not I should be looking to fill the void, or if it will look acceptable... thanks in advance!

Gotcha, thanks... so I would need to "fill the void" as I was wondering...
Still would love if someone could up a pic of a clear fab'd diffuser or even w/the orange simply off...

You could make your own. I saw someone on the wax forums do this for clear corners.http://www.alumilite.com/howtos/Tail...gEquipment.cfm
