Is the 2007 GS430 actually weaker than 2006 GS430???
I thought these two cars had the same motor... however after viewing specs on Lexus's website this is what I found out:
2006 GS430:
-300HP
-325 lb torque
2007 GS430:
-290HP
-319 lb torque
Don't these two models have the same motor?

Take my previous car, it was a Matrix XRS with the 2ZZ-GE 1.8L with "Lift" (also used in the Lotus Elise and Exige). In 2003, my model year, it was rated for 180 HP. In later years, with the same exact engine, they started reporting the HP as down to only 164.

Yes, they changed to the 460 in 2008. 430 has more torque than the 350 which counts for something I would think. Good link for specs on older cars:
