Default Reliable source for inexpensive genuine Philips HID bulbs?

My '06 GS300 lights are acting up. Either the left or right, or sometimes both, headlights will either not come on when the car is started, or may go off as the car is going down the road. Turning the switch off, then back on makes them work again. I want to try replacing the bulbs with genuine Philips. Anyone know of a relaible source for inexpensive bulbs? Don't wanna pay retail, or worse, buy fakes! Thanks

http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Xenon-.../dp/B00480J4I2

amazon sells for $53 per bulb.
Doesn't get anymore reliable than amazon.

I don't see any cheaper ones on ebay.
the cheaper ones are non-philips, or they're used.

COSTANZA,

I'm having the same lights issue with my 2006 GS300. Now the driver's side light turns off immediately after on turn the lights on. Does anyone know if regular garages can install the HID light?

I'm sure they can but why would you want to pay a shop to replace the bulbs when you can easily do it yourself and save some money in the process. Seach the forums, for there are threads on this subject.

I bought a new pair of the OEM Philips Xeneco bulbs for backups from eBay last year for around $50. I'm surprised that the supply dried up.

Are they easy to replace myself? The weather is nice today so I'm up for trying...I am new the the Headlight replacing business. I called NAPA (5 minutes away), who has them in stock for $95.00. I'm being told that the dealers charge $150-$200. Also, do you guys recommend replacing both HID lights at the same time?

google shows one place slightly cheaper, selling a pair of philips for $90 shipped.

but only amazon seems to let you buy one bulb at a time.
