In this thread it says to pop out the circled tabs to get to the reverse lights.

Do i just keep pulling the black liner until it pops out or do i need a flathead screwdriver to pop it out?

that (though i don't entirely recommend it), or use a plier, or even better, one of those trim removal tool with a U shape opening so you can fit it around the tab and then leverage it out

I went ahead and did some trial and error. Luckily it was trial and success. Small Flat-head Screwdriver that fits snug in the space in the middle of the tabs. Just keep pushing (using leverage) outward until you hear the pop sound and it'll fly out, so be aware of the space around you. No tabs broke. Thanks though Henry, you're always a help.

To be honest I just ran into the same issue. I removed mine by just pulling the liner until the screws popped out. I was afraid at first, but after I noticed how the screws looked...I was comfortable doing the rest like that. I only removed a few on each side, until I could reach the lights.

When I was finished, I just pushed them back in. :-)
