It may just be me, but why not just try it and post pics? It's not that expensive and if you don't like it, it's removable.

yeah i like the look of that. they charge a lot here for the vinyl wrap. i also like the look of you roof! did you consider wrapping the chrome at the bottom of the doors?

didnt think about that. i wanted to do the window trim because of the dark tint and the black roof. didnt want a chrome strip to break that up so i just had it wrapped

Your in CA I can't believe they charge that much to have a small piece of chrome wrapped. What prices were you quoted?

Either way IMO plasti dip looks good at a distance but I don't like the texture it leaves up close. You probably wouldn't notice it on a grill or emblems but I'm sure you could tell a difference on the window strip. However like others said, its not expensive so by a bottle, plasti dip it and if you don't like the results you can always remove it.

i had a guy in san francisco quote me $200 for the chrome around the windows. we did my friends in platidip 2 times and for some reason keeps wrinkle where the paint meets at the bottom of the window.. id rather wrap it to keep it looking clean.
