The texture is kinda rubbery feeling. I guess I would compare it to the a rubber handle coating of a tool, such as pliers or a wrench. I don't think it would be too good on interior trim pieces b/c of the texture.

When I detail my car, I don't buff my emblems. But I would imagine if you tried to buff them they would come off. But why would you want to buff painted matte emblems?
I'm thinking of doing the chrome around my grill surround next. What do you guys think?
