Default 06 gs headlight flickering

I have a 06 gs 300 awd, and my headlights start flickering. I know this cannot be normal. First my right headlight didnt turn on when I turned the engine on, but would turn on if I manually turned it off from auto then back to auto. Now the headlights are flickering like strobe lights (not to that extent) but they look like they are about to die. This doesn't happen often but I notcied it a couple of times this week alone. I tried going to the dealer, but they could not replicate the problem. Do I have to get new headlights? Is there a DIY fix or something? I replaced my auto leveling sensor in the rear because the right headlight kept going up by itself. did this have to do with anything?

Thanks in advance.

I just had an internal assembly and harness replaced for free and my factory warranty is up by 300 miles and a month, I do however have a platinum exended warranty. Nothing was said about having to use it though good luck!

what i thought too, seems like bulb going out. i don't know what is the extended warranty, but if it's the bulb, it's a tear and wear item, just like tires and brake pads

I'm having the same exact issue. What was the outcome of the issue you had? Was the bulb about to die or was something else causing this? Thanks.

Thanks BinaryJay. I'm going to purchase a replacement bulb since I see a lot of posts saying the bulb was the issue.

Replace the pair... if you just replace one the colour of each may not match very well as the colour changes with age and the other one is probably going to be on its way out soon enough anyway.

Search for Phillips Ultinon bulbs on Ebay. I got one set from this guy and I could not be happier.
