50% tint on the windshield is virtually unnoticeable from inside the cabin. It also gets rid of a lot of sun glare as well as headlight glare from oncoming traffic -without deteriorating visibility. As far as looking at the car from outside, only if you have very dark tints on the side/rear windows of the car only then would the windshield be somewhat noticeably tinted. Other than that, it's not obvious and looks hot imho.

I have 50% on my windsheild and you can hardly notice it, definitely helps with the sun glare and the cops aren t looking for light tint only dark tint they won t even notice!

I also thinking 50% with silver effect to help with reflecting the sun. But I'm not sure how it look. Has any1 done that before?

And yes, I do have sun glasses with polarize. It does help a bit.

You should only use a metallic tint if you are not planning to use a cellphone or gps device inside your car. Metallic tints really reduce reception.

If you want to reduce heat from the sun, a ceramic tint can't be beat and won't hurt reception.

I myself don't like tints. I have tried, but at the end of the day, I don't like reduced visibility at night. Especially since the Miami skyline from the causeways is stunning at night and we like to enjoy the view out the windows.

I can't wait for electro-photochromic windows.

I agree. Just get some Polarized Sunglasses and call it a day..

100% this. Polarized sunglasses will completely solve your problem.

They've become much more popular and easier to find in the past few years.
