Default How to remove this plastic piece?

Can some guru out there show me how to remove the plastic piece? It's rattling so I'd like to put a piece of foam behind it.

it just pops out. pull from the area that is next to the lock or gently use a flat head screwdriver.

There may be a pic in EyeKutr's DIY side signal mirror thread

Yes, just stick a taped screwdriver in between that piece and the lock and it will pop out.

One of the two screws for the door panel is behind it.

Oh man, it broke in two when I tried to snap it back in.

hahaha, it snapped right in. Now, the test to see if the foam thing works to silent the rattle.

Thanks again,
Kevin
