$15.99 was my choice. It's just an air filter, man. All it needs to do is to keep bugs and sand from going inside the engine.

I have the HKS Hybrid filter. It is reusable. Unlike a K&N filter, you can simply use soap and water to clean it.

They r killing snake to make it? I'm buying 5000000. Die snake die... LOL j/k

OEM filter have nothing in it correct? Just dry fibers?

K&N is like nets and the oil seem to trap dirt better too. Only thing I'm concern is if our engine suck the air strong enough to pull the oil off of those net.

It's just paper, like ALL oem filters. IMHO paper filters do a better job, and are more convenient you just pull, toss, replace. K&N does (or at least used to) make non-oil filters they called DryFlow which were cleanable. I used both types on my previous vehicle but I never really felt completely comfortable with them.

I will not go back to oiled filters, they are just a pain in the ***, they're messy to clean and re-oil and there is just too much chance of gumming up your MAF sensor even if you oil it correctly.

You could conceivably eventually save money on a cleanable replacement filter in the long run but it will take a while to get to that point after you factor in the cleaning chemicals and initial cost. For me, I just prefer the peace of mind in relying on the OEM design and the convenience of tossing the soiled ones.

I've read somewhere that the blitz air filter can be washed and re-used once but am having a hard time finding where I read that.

K&N filters will get oil residue into your throttle body so I dont recommend them. The foam style filters breath the best but filter the least. You don't really gain much power so I would just go with a paper filter and replace it often

You're perhaps thinking of the cabin air filter, not the engine one.
