That's funny because I prefer the front of the 06-07 and the rear of the 08+

Thought the 08 looks sleeker and clean compared to the boxy look of the 06-07.

only thing i do not like about the 08+ is the chrome bezel around the grille. dont like how it cuts into the city lights.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I was in a lovely vehicular sandwich, and may be replacing both my front and rear bumpers if all goes well. I will be utilizing aftermarket parts (Job Design/Aimgain/Artisan Spirits) for a full bumper replacement body kit since my existing kit is no longer available. I have a 2006. Since this is not a lip kit, but full swap, will there be any issues you are aware of? All of the mounting points and measurements are the same, so it should just be plug and play, correct? I do not want to have to sink $$$ into modification if I can just buy the 2006 version of the kit - I do like the 08+ version better, which is why I ask. Want to make sure nothing unexpected comes up. Thanks in advance.

06-7 nose looks better i think. Grille is a lot cleaner without the extra cheesy looking chrome grille. I don't know what Lexus was thinking.

agreed on the chrome. but when it comes to the bottom part, the 08+ bumper is more dynamic and aggressive

Thanks. Unfortunate that the 06 grille does not work, but it's understandable given the extra chrome of the 08+. I will make sure that I get the new style grille if I go this route. A lot is up in the air right now. Appreciate the response.

yea the grille is the only thing you need to make sure you match.

also do a little more searching around here, i remember someone complaining that their job design kit didnt not fit that great (at least for a $3k kit).

Thanks man. Been a while; hope you are well. I'm not going the Job Design route at this point, unless something drastically changes. I did check on one for sale in the GS marketplace, and he did say it fit ok, but it's more than I want to spend at the moment. What I need now is to find a 08+ grille that I like. All this is preliminary research though. It may fall through, and I'll just be riding stock until we find a suitable replacement. Thanks again.
