Hi, does anyone know if Lexus offered a package that includes black emblems in 2006? I am looking at purchasing a 2006 with black emblems and upgraded lexus alloy wheels, and am trying to figure out if this was a package that Lexus offered or if the emblems were done aftermarket. This sounds similar to the platinum pckg offered on the older model but I could not find anything on the 2006. Thanks in advance!

Lexus does sell "Black pearl" emblems, but I don't think any come out of the factory that way. They would be a dealer installed or user installed option.

They aren't that cheap (considering...) so if you like them, nice find. Personally I think they look a little odd unless all of the other chrome trim has something done to it to match.

if you want them black you can get them painted. I did but sold them to another member. He may still have them for sale if your interested.

just get the car w/ full options(=platinum) first then remove all the chrome emblems and spend another $50 to get them painted to blk color.. just have to reconsider if those blk out emblems will matched the color of ur car or not.. GL buddy..

My 2006 GS300 came with black emblems and upgraded factory chrome 17" wheels. Not sure if it was a dealer option or the previous owner did it....
