Finished with lights - 6000k HID low, LED parking, 6000k HID fogs
Before and after pics. Finally finished with the fogs today.
I just took it for a spin. The HID fogs make a huge difference at night.

It looks great.
I have a question:
The Garax 6000K is less bright than the OEM Philips at 4300K. But the HID Figs and LED Parking lights are brighter than OEM.
Netting the loss of light from going to 6000K vs the increased output of HID fogs, can you see better or worse at night?

Now that I have had the Fog HID conversion done, the total output of the 6000k low beams and fogs are definitely greater than the original 4300k lows combined with the original fogs.
I honestly don't think the LED parking lights play much into it either way. The LED parking lights are definitely brighter, but they don't light up the road.
If I had to make an estimate for comparison purposes with the stock bulbs as a reference, I'd probably say this:
Original Factory OEM 4300k bulbs - 100% light output
Garax 6000k low beams with OEM fog - 80% light output
Garax 6000k lows and HID fogs - 125%
It makes a big difference (both in looks and light output).

Is this consistent with what others have experienced with Garax and HID Fogs?

I hope these are not stupid questions but i am kinda a newbie.
2006 GS 430
I want to replace high/low/parking and fogs.
Do i purchase the kits that i see on XenonDepot or am i buying just replacement bulbs?
I saw a few DIY threads but can someone recommend one for my 430?
I think the 6000k is best look.
Did you not replace high beams or not neccesary?
Anything esle i should know before i start this project?

i noticed a slight loss in output when i changed my lows to the 6k garax, but nothing significant. i had the 6k fogs prior to the switch, which is probably why. i also have 50% tint on my front windshield, and i have no issues with night driving. i think once i raise my beams up (i have lowered the car considerably) i will have no complaints for output at all. i do a lot of night driving, especially in the winter, due to my schedule. lighting is the first mod i do to any vehicle due to this.

I didn't mess with the high beams. I just had the dealer turn off my Daytime Running Lights. As little as I use the high beams, I didn't care to mess with it.
I just did the kit from HIDExtra for the fog lights. You need a 9006 HID conversion kit with whatever light color (3000k, 6000k, 8000k, etc) you decide to go with. Here is the thread from the Marketplace forum with the CL discount. Good luck.
