Default DVD question

I have a 2010 GS 350 and want to install headrest DVD. I know that the headrest are called a active headrest but i there any company out there that sale the complete replacement units for the that car? Also how do i hack the NAV system so i can play dvd's when driving

i know lexus offers a dvd headrest kit for the car but its expensive, like 2k. you can go to an audio shop and have it done for much cheaper.

as far as the dvds go, you can either do the wire hack by cutting a few wires or buy the prestegious society kit thats plug and play but its about 300 bucks. i prerfer the ps kit.

lexus does offer it kinda they wont do it on the 2010 because of the active headrest because it get rid of a saftey iteam. I going to order a set and just make them work.

In my experience if one dealer says no, call another. There is always a more compliant dealer in the network.

anyone know how to get the headrest off the seat i figured out how to get the active headrest cable disconnected but there is some kind of lock that keeps it from coming all the way out of the seat

Nothing about the headrest ? Cant find anything on the internet about removing them

honestly im not too sure. i would check the DIY on the seat clips that show you how to change them, there is a good pic of what the back of the seat looks like uncovered. im sure from the back of the seat, you could get a good idea of how to remove the headrest
