GS300 2006 stock subwoofer
I took mine out today after searching for awhile for the exact info but no luck. Here is the info on stock sub on a non nav, non nakamichi 2006 GS300
10 inch
dual 2.5 ohms
will post pictures if there is any request. email me at thaiquach@yahoo.com
-----------------------------------------
info for removing the stock sub:
- remove the bottom part of back seat first by lift the front of the seat. There are 2 snap-in clips. Just pull up and slide it out to the front afterward.
- remove the 2 bolts behind the rear headrests (pull up the headrests), remove 4 bolts at bottoms of back support
- remove the top piece that covers the subwoofer, there is one white snap-in clip in the middle at front (pull up), 2 while plastic hook on two far side by the rear quarter panel (press down) and slide it out to the front.

just finished installing a Kicker 10C104 Free air sub. It kicks pretty well for a 10-inch! On some rap/hip hop tracks though, there is a slight rattle coming from the shelf. I will need to install some dynamat beck there or something...
I originally installed a Rockford fosgate P3SD410 shallow mount sub, but since it required an enclosure, it was more rattles than sound. It moved too much air for install over the stock location.
