3D autozoom, street text to speech, live traffic, day/night, lane guidance, etc...

Or if you're old fashioned, no frills 2D version:

Music control retained via steering wheel controls.
Nice! Good Idea!

the bypass wont allow you to do it. you'll need some sort of ipod hook up like vaistech

Can I use the sl2vi with my iphone 3gs & bypass to watch movies from my iphone on my nav screen. It looks like that is what was accomplished but there was some confusion on if this would work with ML installed.

depends, i would ask henry (rominl) as he would know. i know i couldnt do it on my 06 because the vaistech that supported video didnt work with the ML system in the 06s. 07 and up it did.

you need a vaistech unit that supports video

little2576, your profile says 06 gs. do you have mark levinson? if so, unfortunately vaistech doesn't have a solution (sl2vi and ml+ don't work)

but you can go with ps. their new meis system. it works for 06 with ml

IXI187IXI, i was talking to ps about the new system. maybe you can check with them too

Default Hacked my Lexus GS to Play iPhone Music & Videos!

Ever since I saw this post I became obsessed with doing the same thing to my Lexus

Finally got my iPhone Integration kit [Vais SoundLinq2 ] working in my 2006 Lexus GS 300 Non-ML version all I can say is that I love the sound quality; those darn tape adapaters or FM modulaters just plain sucked

I video taped the ENTIRE installation including removing the Lexus GS headunit display screen. Here's the video incase some of you are feeling brave

If you are an audiophile ->YOU NEED TO DO THIS!!! Music will sound absolutely perfect in your Lexus

Let me say that I am very happy that I did the install. it was 100% plug-n-play. And I will be jailbreaking my iPhone so that I can port the entire screen display to my Lexus screen.

Thank you mysteryan for posting this originally!

Get MotionX Drive GPS for $1 in the AppStore and you won't have to jailbreak.

It does dual screen GPS like you've never seen. It's the best GPS I know of.
