Lowering a GS3 with Warranty

I had issues with my CV Boots leaking right after I installed my coilovers. They wouldn't repair it because of the "modified suspension." They also wouldn't do anymore work towards figuring out my vibration and wobbling issues (AWD).
It also depends on what dealership you go to.

I want to lower it because im going to get the carson tuned kit and some 20" chrome staggered Neeper Flow wheels....

The only thing that should be effected with the factory warranty are the parts you remove
I agree with the above poster, it depends on your dealer, but also when you go to the dealer always try and deal with the same service manager, and find out his/her birthday and drop off a random 6 pack/bottle of their favorite beer or drink, and when the holidays come, send them a Xmass/New Years card with a 20 inside, small things like that can save you 1000's and I speak from experience.
If you put coilovers on the car, and you have CV problems, adjust the coilovers to a stock height, you only live once, so enjoy your car
Also, find a private shop to do your mods, if your dealer is one of the ones that likes to charge high prices, don't forget some dealers will install your parts and cover it

jbasco, I was thinking the same thing because my car is still under the used car warranty. I asked the same question, and someone said that they cannot void your warranty on the car unless the aftermarket item directly causes the problem on the car. But I guess it depends on the dealer.
