How to tell if you're preowned lexus has been lowered?

that car is at a buddy's house because i'm doing oil changes and we are doing the dvd/nav hack and he has all of the tools. i'll be able to look at it again tonight after work, but i do remember my springs were black when i looked at them. i'll keep you posted and thanks again for the comments and help.

the springs are defenitely black... don't know if that means anything, but that's the color. i would have checked the strut screws but i didn't feel like taking off those panels.

Is there any service history on the car? It is possible (but very rare) that someone cut the stock springs. That does not look like stock height to me.
How is the underbody. Stock height will be pretty pristine. Lowered GSs will have scrapes on the plastic and under the front bumpers...

The car looke really nice in that color with those wheels. If you are concerned about a lowered suspension I would check the fender wells for signs of shaving, rolling, or pulling.

Car looks pretty close to stock to my eye.
*Tip- One impression you can do to make it appear lower is to keep armor-all on the tires. The darker color on the tires will blend in better with the wheel well background.

if they did, they didn't reset the maintenance required alert that pops up. also, i would have changed it anyways as i don't trust anybody... and want to make sure for myself.
