Default Phone troubles

I bought my first Lexus today, beautiful 06' GS300. I can not figure out how to transfer my contacts from my Iphone to the phone book in the car. Is there a quick easy way to transfer them? Any info will help, Thanks

Have you checked the manual?? If nothing there I would have the service guys at the dealership take a crack. I a sure they have done this more than a few times before

From reading previous iPhone threads, it appears the iPhone doesn't support sending contacts at all. Quite strange considering phones from way back supported it.

So you either have to enter it manually or put the SIM card in another phone that supports it (if the iPhone actually stores the contacts on the SIM card).

You wont without help.

I had to go through my dealer, which they did for free. I created my contact list as a delimited text format and pushed it up to a web site they use. Their Phone person then took an older phone and put my contacts in it and then was able to easily push those from the older cell over to my GS. We then just deleted his profile and I am good to go, except that I would either have to buy a cheapie cell off of EBay to edit my list or stop by the dealer again to keep it updated... it is a hassle, but doable if you want to spend the time.

the iphone does not store contacts on the SIM. so, moving the SIM to another phone will do nothing for you.

I had to use my old Blackberry to push my contacts. it's pretty sad that a phone like this can't do something so simple as phonebook push.
