they all make the car look F 150ish. Anyone outside of the VIP guys, people who see your car on the road will think you put a cheesy after market part on your Lexus.. To each his own but that **** will not end up on my car. The VIP visors looks better but still has the F150 look IMHO

they actually look pretty nice, thought i think the JDM are a bit more streamlined. these fit very tight to the glass, so they do not look like truck visors at all. my only complaint is that they do not taper flat to the car on the end of the visor at the rear window. i will post pics as soon as i get a few good ones to show what i mean.

looking good.. jdm was little too much for my budget, really considering these... but does anyone know how the JDM fit at the end of visor on rear window?

Please, can you get some when u have a chance. better yet ill take your word for it. How is the fitment, and are you satisfied with them or should have saved for the JDM's?

IMO: if i have the extra money i would go for the JDM's. but the price of these are so much cheaper im happy with them. fitment is perfect. the only parts i dont like about them are the ends of them b/c they dont slowly transition into a clean point. they seem just "chopped" off. but 135 compared to 375 is a big difference. i can get some pics maybe tomorrow.

do you think there is a way of trimming them down yourself? to make it transition a bit better?

the AVS are very flimsy compared to JDM. the plastic used is comparable to like a DVD case.. the chrome molding on the top is a decal of some sort on a thick piece of rubber and then cleared for protection with flexible clear urethane. and also that chrome decal part is rounded instead of being more flat, like a half circle. also it doesnt reflect like real chrome. its also wavy when looking from an angle. like the whole thing needs to be color sanded and polished. only you cant.

the JDM ones are made of plastic comparatble to, the plexiglass of a sub woofer enclosure. the chrome molding on top is made of real metal and reflects like the chrome molding thants on our windows. and instead of just double sided tape, the metal part actually hooks over the window trim making it waay more secure. also the chrome part is flat like our OE chrome moldings. and the back part tapers very nicely. the AVS is about 1/2 inch step. and theres no way to mod it. i mean u can try, but its not gona work.

agreed. however, if you took the time to do it right, instead of throwing them on the car as i did, i think you could shave down the foam at the end on the rear to allow for a more streamlined fit. you would have to get some double sided tape, but it 'should' work. and i agree that they are a little flimsy, but they are thick enough that they do not flex when you are driving with the windows down. i cannot see spending close to 400 dollars for a plastic piece i can buy for 100, just because it is JDM. if it fits well, is functional, and looks good, i really do not care where it comes from. lol. i'm sure the purists would not like reading that, but to each their own. that being said, if the JDM were 200 or even 225, then i would have bought them. 400 is just asinine imo.
