Default GS trunk strut interest

Hi all, I recently added the GS430 application to the OEM replacement struts I have a solution for. I was wondering how many of you would be interested in this product.

$79.95 the same as the LS430 struts I have been selling for 2 years now.

2 year warranty

approx 10% higher force than stock for long life.

Please post up your feedback and questions. Thanks,
Fig

Probably a cheaper replacement than OEM if and when it breaks down eh?

yes precisely, the OEM units cost anywhere from $240-$360 depending on if you take it to the dealer for installation. This is just a lower cost alternative that I have come up with to save people money with the same function, just a slightly different strut.

The OEM trunk shock weakness is the socket portion of the joint. It is made of cast iron material-mine cracked on the trunk lid side-replaced under warranty.

This is a good price for an aftermarket piece.

You would think so with an aftermarket strut since all it has to do on the 3GS is to pull it close enough to activate the automatic closing function and not actually close it, which I believe would be the hard part.

Hi Fig,
I have a gs300 2006. Does your strut work for that model?

It should work for all gen 3 chassis. But if you want to send me trunk pics and give me a measurement to verify I can be sure.
Thanks, Mike
