Thanks bro, I spent all night reading through all the pages and it seems I'll be fine as long as I have a nice shave and thin tires like you said. *high 5*

Can i get away with shaving all the fender to get them to work with no camber? (Or factory spec camber)
Would be changing to thinner tires if needed for clearance
Im thinking about throwing a 235/35/20 tire for the front due to me not liking all that stretch. Does anybody know if there will be problems making full turns?

I found this thread a massive help so here is my input.

Zito 935 wheels
8.5 front ET 25 235/40/19
9.5 Rear ET 45 255/35/19

Tyres were already on them and I have a very slight rub at the front on lock. Going to be lowered 1 1/2" front and 1" rear. Rears sit perfect and I don't think any arch (fender) mods will be needed. Front will almost certainly need something doing. Though I am thinking of dropping to 225/40/19. Cant run rubber bands on pot holed British roads!

http://www.wheel-size.com/size/lexus/gs/ great site for comparing tyre / wheel combos.

Hey Thumper throw up sum side pics so we can see that stretch on dem tires!!! What are your tohoughts on those sizes and can you corner ok at speed!? I always wondered about hard cornering with such stretched tires. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN OPINION ABOUT THIS SUBJECT?

WOULD IT FEEL DIFFERENT WITH A 255 on a 9" rim then a 225 on a 9" rim that's stretched like crazy?

P.S. that still looks dope by the way!

I only a threw on the wheels on the passenger side just to check out what kind of clearance I'm working with. But regardless of that I wasn't much of a high speed corner mashing guy. And a 255 on a 9" wheel would be pretty meaty, depending on your offsets you would rub

^^^^those pics should give you an idea of the stretch and how far the wheels poke out with the offsets at stock height

im searching for new setup for the 01 im looking to get here soon. These g3 wheels looks decent. Might take it classic and put some stock supra wheels on it to match the stable.
