I found where the rattle is coming from. I have heard a few members complain of this issue so I figured I would share . I have found that the rear right corner of the sunroff assembly is slightly lose. If you push on the rear right corner of the sunroof( assuming you are in the drivers seat) it will move slightly. I plan to have this problem addressed at my next service. I mentioned it to them last time and they couldnt reproduce it. So if you get the same line at your dealership show the service tech the vibration is coming from the sunroof glass, and you can reproduce the vibration by simply slamming the door shut while in the car

mine comes and go, but not too concerned about it.. just wondering, have you had any rattles and creaks from dashboard? if so, were they able to fix it 100%?

never heard this in my life....u guys must have very sensitive ears. or mayb.........just mayb i didnt buy the xtra rattle premium :P

When you guys get ur rattles, does you notice it early as the first month you have the car or as the car is broken in?

mine was dead silent when it was new. i kept hearing about this rattle issues and was crossing my fingers i would be the lucky one. maybe it's time for me to get full advantage of this lexus service..

I have the elusive sunroof rattle. I'm going to take a look at that area you mentioned. And ever since I took out the Nav to do the Nav hack and install the iPod connecter I have a dashboard rattle. Fortunately, I know where that one is (between air vent and plastic frame above Nav)...I just need to adjust it when I have time.

I too have the rattling problem from the sunroof. What I do is side the cover out a little and it stops rattle.

My sunroof rattle use come from the black metal trim piece in the drivers side toward the front of the car. I can push on the metal trim and it making a poping noise. I guess there is no one general area where the sunroof rattles.

My roof squeaks and squeals when driving up and down a parking garage. Very annoying since I park in a garage every day but I have learned to live with it I guess. This is my 2nd Lexus and will be my last.

I bought my car new just over a year ago now and the mileage is 10k.

My rattles/squeak/squeals etc all started last fall pretty much and have continued to present day.

I have the rattles in the sunroof. I usually get it in the morning when its colder, it tends not to rattle as much when its warm. I tried taking it in to the dealer but couldn't reproduce it (despite the fact that I videotaped it and gave it to the technician).

It bothers me infrequently, but because I know its there I am focusing on it I think. No matter, Lexus will fix it. I still have the dash rattle. I had an odd stain on the dash right above my cebter ac vents. Lexus has already approved the replacement of the entire dash. My service guy said if it needs to come out for the rattle they are just going to replace the entire dash at the next visit. I have held because the dash has already been out once. The work is backed by the dealership so I will probably end up just doing it

Dealerships have not been able to fix the dash or the sunroof rattle. I've taken it to different dealerships for a total of 8+ times and still no fix. Guys, I think its an honest waste of taking it in to them. I've replicated with them before, and still not enough to get a fix.
