Default Absorber Body Kit for 08+ GS

I checked out the Japanese bookstore after I work and I looked at the latest VIP CAR magazine.

Near the back of the issue it discusses new body kits coming out. It looks like Absorber.jp is making a body kit for the 08+ GS. It showed the full car front and back on several pictures. I thought it looked nice on the GS.

I didn't buy the magazine because I was hoping to go home and find more images on the Absorber.jp website but it doesn't look like they have much except a blurry front angle shot.

Anyone have any other info or pictures of it from somewhere? Not sure when it's coming out but hopefully some vendors on CL will be able to get ahold of this.

Another one to add to the 08+ GS body kit list.

I like the kit. Why is it that these Japanese performance companies have such stupid names. Junction produce sounds like a ****ty little super market. Then you have Amuse and now Absorber. These guys need to consult with language experts before they decide on a name.

I've never seen wheels like that before either.

LOL. No idea. When I think I remember produce stores popping out as search results when I Googled for "junction produce" in the past. I guess that's Japanese English for you.

the names may sound silly to us, but probably has certain meaning in japanese.

front plates are required by law, depending on where you live. but i agree, front plates are ugly, and could be mounted below the bumper for a more esthetic look.

No problem!

It is more on the sporty side but it is clean. Definitely something I would consider for a body kit for a 08+ GS. Anyways there are only a handful of 08+ GS body kits. Too bad Lexus USA does not offer any official body kits in the dealer. I was hoping to find more pictures and info online but to my disappointment nothing on the Absorber site.

I am sure that in the perspective of the Japanese there are a lot of things that we have here that are stupid to them as well

Yes....I doubt if the translation into other languages had much to do with company name selections.....
