What Brake Pads should I get?
Hey, I was looking for suggestions about what kind of brake pads I should get next for my car. My pads are worn out. I don't need anything crazy because I don't track my car or anything, but I do want something that is better than OEM of course.

although it is a little pricy, i recommend endless brake pads (the dustless ones). i've had very good experience with them in my old car. when it's time to change my front pads, i will be switching to endless.

hawk pads are also very good, probably a lot more cheaper than endless. i have no experience with axxis so i can't comment on that. both endless and hawk are ok to use with stock rotors, don't worry.

Thanks that did help a lot. My friend told me about akebono eur ceramic brake pads. He said they were good on OEM rotors. Thanks for all the help. I'll post up how they work after I install them.

Wow, the endless are sounding pretty good, I'm going to test out the akebono and see how I like them. I got them for $102 for the front and rears at placeforbrakes.com

I recommend Posi-Quiet, had them for a month and never heard any noise. Good bracking and almost no dust. I’m quite happy with Akebonos on my 98 but my mechanic told me that third generation GS is too heavy for ceramics.

My car was not on original pads already when I bought it at 25k miles 
. When I changed pads at 30k, the rear rotors were out of spec. If you use the car how it was designed to be driven, spirited, aggressive driving (“Punisher” stile, see the van behind you smoking, etc LOL), you are looking at 25k tops. So the story that my Toyota went 90k on original brakes does not apply to us anymore.
Such an elegant car should stop beautifully and it is worth the $ at every 25k.
