Default Whistling sound from drivers side wheel...

I only have 2k miles on my car and I've noticed a whistling sound coming from the drivers side wheel. At first I thought it was normal and probably created by the air hitting the rubber around the window...but as I pay more attention to it, I notice that it starts once I'm going about 55-60mph and seems to get a little worse as I drive faster. Steering wheel seems fine and the drive is still smooth. I have yokohama tires if that makes any difference. What could this be?? I noticed it a few hundred miles ago, but that was probably because I havent driven with my windows down until recently. I also just curbed my wheel a few days ago and I'm afraid if I bring it in they're going to say I did something wrong...which may have made it worse but was already there. Don't really want to be paying for repair after 2 months...anyone have that whistling problem? thanks.

Some people have complained of a whistle from the side mirror, could that be it?

Since you just curb your wheel, it could be the wheel bearing?

Probably not it but have you checked your tire pressure?

if you can't find the problem....take to discount tire and have them check your tires....it could be wearing out unevenly due to the tires or alignment. discount tires won't charge you for a checkup

I guess it could be coming from anywhere...I'm trying to focus as best I can without actually sticking my head out the window while driving and it really sounds like its coming from the wheel...I don't think its the side mirror because it sounds closer to the ground and I noticed that its not consistent when I'm driving above 55mph, its more prevalent in the morning though. I'm not sure if its from the wheel bearing only because it was there before I curbed my wheel. I haven't checked my tire pressure, but I thought that if I were low on air, a signal would pop up? Who really knows...I can't tell for sure. I will definitely take it to discount tire first and see what they say.

If you are sure its not the wheel bearing, check to see if your brakes are sticking.
