first= switch to another body shop. it should not take them 4 tries to color match.
second= just make her pay for it.........i'm sure she feels bad already- no need to say anything that makes her feel worse.......it's just a car
third= lesson learned and move on

I had a new TL, and my wife let her niece and nephew eat inside which messed up my interior, and she scratched it as well. After all that, it was a perfect excuse to get my 3GS. No kids (that aren't mine), and sometimes no wife are allowed inside my car.

if she knows ur partial to your car, then shes internally sorry for the accident. dont bash her about it because women are super emotional and know how to flip the script on you. she'll make you feel bad about it and deny you the poonanny on top of that!
just try and get you some bomb lettuce, fix the ride, and forget about it

I bought my wife her own Lexus... although she never really had the urge to drive mine as she perfers SUVs.
Let this be another reminder to you single guys out there -- "it" is never free. One way or another, you will pay something for it.

You have the right to be upset but remember a car is a material thing, it can be fixed.
My previous car was a GTI and I never had to urge to teach my GF stick so she never drove it and never experienced a GF problem.
My New Lexus GS is obviously not so I rushed to put on rims and drop it because she fears crubbing them (typically asian female driver). So with the new rims and drop and the fact that she knows I would freak out if anything were to happen to my baby (GS) she has never asked to drive it.
So one day we were all *faded* and having a cig in my car and has shes attempts to ash she burns my interior right above the window. Note that the window was completely open and the car was parked. So no biggie, I paid for a new interior A-Pillar replacement part. The following week I get wasted at a club and she has to drive home. While driving home she spills a full cup of coffee in my drink holder and crubs both rims on the passenger side while parking....LOVELY....
so the moral of the story is kids that no matter what you do to try to prevent the inevitable...dont try...it wont work!

girls can't drive worth s***. You need to find a better body shop, why is it so difficult for them to match the color (I do know white are some of the hardest colors to match, but com'on, 4 times!)

My girlfriend knows she is a terrible driver and she doesn't even bother asking to drive my car because she already knows the answer.
In the two years i've had my car, only three people besides myself have driven it. My dad drove it once and the other two are Lexus certified mechanics.
Like you, my car is pretty much the only thing I put money into to take really good care of so thats the best way I know to protect my 'investment'.

My thoughts when things like this happen is that ALL cars end up like this. It may not happen when you own it but after you sell it and after enough time they all end up crushed in a scrap yard. It's only a car but a wife is forever (or at least should be )
