LOL.... HAAAAhahahaha...

besides that, it's only a car and it will get fixed. just be nice to her i'm sure she's upset and feels a little dumb (with the park assist and all), and use this as the basis for all of the driving jokes you have in store for her in years to come

You can always expand it and let her slip your favorite home cooked meal every now and then.

let me tell you i know how you feel man, i was hanging out on my girlfriends house on her balcony and my car was parked right underneath which was the second floor. we had a few beer bottles on the table and nothing happened until her friend walks over the table and knocks bluemoon glass bottles down, one of them slipped and rolled over the balcony and landed right on the bottom of my car causing such a noise that the neighbors came to see what that sound was. i had fire come out of my eyes i was so pissed it ruined my whole night. it was really bad and i got really mad so thats why i got my rear spoiler to cover it up. get it fixed and you will be all happy again

I wouldnt even let her drive it in the first place, so I could blame you just as much as her. The only place my gf can sit is the passenger seat, or the backseat

We have a rule in our house, the wife can borrow my car, but if she wrecks it, she is fixing it.

I am happy to say that my wife has never even so much as put a tiny scratch on my car.

....which may, or may not have something to do with the fact that she is not allowed to drive it.

I bought my wife an RX330 so she wouldn't want to drive mine. It works.

2000/50 is only 40....although you could tell her it was 400 and hope she didn't have a calculator handy.

You guys are very funny and believe it or not, have made me feel better about the situation.

I agree with the advice of, get it fixed and all will be well but that is just the problem... The body shop just cannot figure out how to match my paint color. They aren't even close! I guess I will keep my fingers crossed as they attempt a 4th repaint.

Maybe she is just not use to driving a car as low as the GS. Most cars or SUV usually clears those parking blocks, but the GS's front air dam is too low. Did you warn here about that, if not, then its as much your fault as it is hers. When my wife use to drive my GS, I remind her everytime that the GS' front air dam will not clear most sidewalk curbs and parking blocks.

Needless to say the situation is a nightmare and I have found myself getting a little too upset with my g/f about her ineptness to drive the car properly given it has parking sensors and a camera to prevent stuff like this.

How does everyone cope with these situations? I really feel bad about getting mad at her about it but I just can't help it. My car is the one thing I spend a lot of time taking care of.

Thanks for allowing me to vent.
Well if it makes you feel better, my ex gf once got into an accident with my dad's old E-class. She reared ended a Jaguar. She was entirely at fault and pissed me off that she thought it wasn't her fault. So my insurrance co. had to cover for the repairs done to that Jaguar; and for my dad's car, the cost to repair was about $5000 for a new hood and front bump and so and so. I was so mad and my dad was hella pissed at me. So what did I do? I did nothing to my ex since **** happens anyways, but ended up with someone else and said good bye to that ex. lol!
