Cruising Range indicator ?
I guess the is no overall MPG info it seems its done on a per tank basis. As the mpg increases while driving the cruising range indicator does not compensate for the changes is there a way to reset the cruising range ? For example i had 2/3 of tank of gas i filled up the tank started driving the MPG indicated i was getting 25 mpg which should give me a cruising range of 475 miles assuming 19 gallons of gas but my cruising range said 338 miles so something isnt making sense here. is there any way to reset this ? what am i missing here lol ?

One thing is you're looking for more like 16 gallons on the full tank cruise range readout, not 19 gallons. There's a buffer when it hits 0 miles. If it said 475 miles, that would be based on something approaching 30 mpg.

The range computer average the pass MPG info and stored it into a buffer for calculation. It actually updates itself while you are driving. I use to drive a lot of city, when I get on teh highway, some times I actually see the range go up while I am driving.
