Default May be buying a GS, quick question

Looking for another car, I've posted on other forums about the IS, now I'm looking for info about the GS as well. Just looking for a real world idea of what kind of gas mileage I could expect out of a 2006 GS300, 2006 GS430, or newer GS350/450

With my 07 GS350, I avg about 22.5mpg around town. I'm fairly light on the pedal but will from time to time open it up. My daily commute to work is 17 miles one way. On the highway, setting the cruise at 73-75, I will get 30mpg. These numbers come from GS's trip computer. Of course your driving style and conditions will net different numbers.

06 GS 300 expect 25 to 28. normal disclaimers apply, driving mix etc. I don't obsess or put lab instruments on it but routinely am at 27+

thanks guys, both the gs300 and gs350 seem pretty much right in line with the is350.. just makes the decision harder.

Would the 07+ 350 motor be a better choice to go with than the 300? Seems odd the 300 motor was only in use for 06.

wow, something must be wrong with my car. i use to get 24mpg on average, now im averaging around 21

My 450h is averaging around 28mpg and sometimes I will turn it up a few notches, but i feel as though I have a medium on the pedal.

Something is wrong with your car??? I'm getting 16.5 in winter time, 18ish in summer.

My average mix (6 miles/5 stop lights to work + around town, shopping etc.) gets right around 19.

I recently checked my hwy traveling mpg at 26.6

The 350 is a much better choice than the 300, same gas mileage but the 350 has much more horespower.

I drove my 06 430 for a month on the freeway and the city roads. I was trying to save at some times and occasionally went crazy. No matter what, it makes 19-20 tops. Quite alright in comparison to my 22 of 1998 300.

Own a 06 GS300 and would have waited for the more powerful 350. If only I knew. My parents ES350 gets very comparable MPG's as my 300.

For 17k miles, IS350 lifetime avg was 23 mpg

On 10k miles, GS350 lifetime avg is 22

This is a 75/25 hwy/city commute in So Cal rush hour traffic . . .
