I have a 245/30 front and 275/30 rear and have never rubbed. I have put 5 people in car going out, and I had no issues at all. My wheel and tire guy shaved 5mm off the wheel to change the offset by 5mm. I dont see how you guys can live with rubbing. It would drive me nuts

I agree with Heng350. I had 245/35/20's out front on tanabes and it rubed pretty bad on dips, inclines, and some hard turns. Switched to 245/30's and it fixed the problem. I should've ran those to begin with since my rears are 275/30's.

hmm... interesting feedback, i see that rubbing will exists primarily on staggered setups with the 245-35-20 in the front, but in reggie's case with the same tire all around (non-staggered) it was good to go.

oh and the wheel size i'll be running would either be 20x8 or 20x8.5, the latter being only if the 8" is impossible to get/make.

what offsets are you guys running. Isn't that what matters most. I think if you get the correct offset, with the 35 series tire, you'll be fine. Can anyone confirm?

I'm running 35 offset in front and I believe most are in that area. Your rubbing issue should be much less with 37-40 offset.

So 35 offset up front isn't too bad of a problem up front. How about the back?
