To stagger or not to stagger, that is the question!
For you guys that got after market wheels (or plan to get), what are the pros and cons of going the staggered wheel set up, or just have the F & R wheels the same size (non-stagger)?
The only con I can think of for not getting the staggered setup would be that you can't rotate your tire F to R to even out tire wear, and the R tires might be slightly more expensive because of the width.
The pro for staggered setup is that the larger rear tires have more contact patch with the ground, and hence better traction when accelerating.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, and if you have any comments either pro or con.

Its the perfect balance for a Lexus! Once you drive it you will see the difference not only from a look but the handling is like no other.
If you can throw on spacers on the rear only and drive the car around! You will be SOLD once you do!
I cant wait to get rims for the GS but probably after that white stuff is gone....

when cars go around corners there can be a tendency to oversteer , so by providing more rear traction you produce more neutral handling characteristics. Now Im pretty sure none of us actually drive the car at the limits because its a huge liuxury cruiser, so generally its really for cosmetics. Plus its kind of the industry style, even for FWD cars they are doing staggered
