Accidently put in 89 octane, now check engine light on, how to reset?
A week ago, stopped in a gas station and filled up. To my surprise, I accidently pushed for the 89 (mid-grade) octane. A couple days later, the system light went on. After I fried through the tank, I filled it up with premium, but the light is still on. Anyone know how to reset this light?

Could it be a loose gas cap? That could cause the check engine light to come on. Tighten the gas cap until you hear several clicks. If the check engine light doesn't go away after a week of mutiple trips, you need your dealer to diagnose the problem.

Interesting... my GS only says to click once... I don't think I can do it again even if I wanted to...

turning the gas cap so that it clicks several times is OK. you can never over tighten the gas cap. if can't over click the gas cap, there is something wrong, as that is a standard feature on all cars. you should get that checked out by your dealer (defective gas cap maybe?)
