First pics of my car (not the best quality)
Sorry for the crappy image quality, I broke my cam these were taken with an iPhone.
Day 1 (somewhere on the way home from Atlanta)
Day 2 (somewhere in New York)
Day 4 (Windows tinted, specs are in my sig)
The car is pretty dirty here
My 6000K HID Fogs
I've had way too many problems with aftermarket hid kits before, which is why I've got myself these Denso ballasts. I had to modify them though, the wires are extended so that I could put these babies under the hood, instead of placing them somewhere at the bottom of the car. D2S sockets are removed as well, they now use 9006 bulbs.
Hopefully I will get a new cam in future and take some better pics!

I thought there is a max length for the high voltage wire to the bulb, I forgot what the issue was, maybe it was power loss. BTW, I hope you use more than just electrical tape for your spice. There is about 15000 volts going to your bulb, you need special high voltage tape for that application.

I used my iPhone to take these pics
Umm I'm not really sure what those things are called, I bought them from the shop that installs HID's. They are some type of wire connectors that look like this blue one in the picture below
I had to use some electrical tape on top, just in case....

That blue thing is a butt splice connector, they are only rated for 600 volts AC. When I did my splice for my HID, I use the butt connector that had solder in it and use the heat gun to melt the solder. On top of that, I wrap it with high voltage tape, rated for 10,000 voltage and then put regular electrical tape on top of that. There is a lot of voltage going thru that wire, it may only last for a few milliseconds, but I would not want to take a chance with 10,000 volts. If you look at the small prints on the wire to the bulb, the wires are made from special insulation which is rated for 8000 volts or more.

I use the 3M high voltage splice tape and wrap the electrical tape on top of that because the high voltage tape is not sticky enough by itself. Again, you only need it on the wire from the ballast to the bulb.
