Default Sucessfully done, NAV HACK with unlimited Override time

Hey guys, i just want to share my info with y'all.. My buddy sucessfully did the wire cutting (NAV HACK) with a switch on my 2008 GS350 with version 7.1 to enable bluetooth dialing, watching DVD while car in motion. With the added switch of NAV Override it only allowed me 30 seconds to 45 seconds for address and POI input and the screen will grey out again.

30 to 45 seconds isnt enough for me. My buddy found the solution for the timing out problem. Now i have UNLIMITED time for addresses and POI search, and not pay $300 for the data system nav hack. I wish i know more about electronics to explain all the steps. If any of you guys wanna to this, just PM me and i'll give you my buddy phone number. By the way many members on CL knows him and had their wire NAV HACK done by him in the past. Also it will work on the ES, IS, GS, and LS

I have the nav bypass switch installed couple months ago.. He added the module box (circuit board with resistors) and hooks it up to the switch. No dash or nav removal needed.

I don't understand why people always ask the people who is helping, to PM them the information.

If we are asking for his help, we should take the initial action to ask him for his help by PM'ing them.

some people are so lazy and inconsiderate...

I have the nav switch and the hybrid disc so I guess it's the best of both worlds.
