Default 07 GS with Run Flat ??

I recently picked up an 07 GS450h as a pre-owned from a local dealership. The car has run flats on them and according to the original sticker it had them as original equipment. Here are my questions.

1. Does a GS with run flats come with a donut spare?
2. Does a GS with run flats have TPMS?
3. I plan on switching out the run flats on the next tire change. Is there anything I need to consider when switching back to standard tires?

Thanks

1) no
2) yes, runflats is one of the reason TPMS is required
3) what to do when your tire pops in the middle of the road, reason: refer to #1

not supposed to, you guys are lucky, then, either the dealer did it as good well gesture or forgot to take them out.

either way, runflats = no need for spares.

Thanks for the assistance. I was looking to try and get a definitive on the donut so that I could go back to the dealer and ask them. The response I got when initially looking at the vehicle was that run flats don't need to have a donut, which I can understand, but kind of thought it would have been included by default.

So, if I go to non-run flats, I will have to get a donut. Any other concerns when switching? I just don't like the sound/noise with the run flats.

It is a CPO, so I do have that service from Lexus.

I'm going to switch to regular tires when the runflats are worn. They are not that bad if you mostly drive on smooth roads.

nah, tire is just tire, regardless of it being run flats or not. Runflats are stiffer, harder and heavier, so you will probably enjoy the non runflats tire a lot more.

You have road side assistance and if you are going to get a donut, then you have nothing to worry about.

enjoy the car..

There may not be a need for a spare, but my 2007 AWD came with run-flats and a donut spare. Most did. I think some of the 2006s did not.

yes mine also come with a donut spare as well, and all the run flat comes with tpms, I think when you switch to normal tires you will find the rides a lot better not as stiff. That is what I am going to do for my next set of tires.
