Do you smoke in your GS?
#50
If there was a "not yet" in the poll then I would have voted. I've only had my car for a month and a half so I haven't smoked in my car yet since it has the new car smell still. lol. But I've smoked in all my other cars in the past, so it's bound to happen with my Lexus. I bought my car to enjoy it, not baby it. Like someone else mention.........it's a car, not a shrine. If someone doesn't like the smell of my car, then they can get the fcku out and walk.

Smoking is bad for you. Don't smoke period.

My saying is always........"the best things in life are bad for you". But does that mean I should stop eating red meat and fried chicken? Should I stop drinking liquor and alcohol? Should I stop eating fatty foods and drinking coffee? Heck no!!! Life is way too short, so live it to the fullest and do what you want.

Most people become addicted because you can actually try it once or twice and even though you dont like the taste or smell, its too late, they are already addicted. I was a smoker for 20 years and recently quit and just realized how bad cigarettes taste and smell, but I still want to smoke one now and then. Dont fool yourself, cigarette is one of the most additive over the counter drug sold in the US today.

It is just a gosh darn car, if I feel like having a cigarette I will. I once smoked a few packs a day, but now I limit myself to 6 cigs a year. I had one last Jan but haven't had the urge to have one since then. Most of the cars that people smoke in have burn spots from dropped cigs so I would not risk having a passenger drop a lit cig and burn my carpet or seat. If anyone does have a smoke in the car it will be me and no one else.
PS I change cars a lot so it really doesn't matter to me because when I get tired of driving the car I just get a new one. I got rid of my RX400H with less than 2 years on a three year lease. I just ot the GS450H last Saturday and like it a lot but that does not mean I may not get tired of driving it and trade it on something new.
