Use electrical tape to tape together a bunch of wires (iPod adapter, by-pass switches, etc.). Sometimes they rub against each other to create noises. I'd also use a zip-tie too and secure them to a non-mobile platform. Hope this helps.

You must live in bizarroworld because everybody else gets the rattles up front when it's cold.

hahaha yeah i know jay, it's really weird. I fixed all the cold rattles, when I'm driving home from work at night, no rattles. But when the sun is out and it gets hot inside the car....dang.....its pretty bad even if i turn up the radio. Even the SA at lexus said, mine is pretty bad during the day time haha, but no goodwill =(

I think I heard it in my 08 GS a few times so far. I get it to go away by opening and closing the glass. I can only recommend to see a dealer when it is happening if you still have warranty. If you can have a tech ride with you and hear it, they can probably fix it.

the problem might be the clips that hold the back glass in place.
hey may need to cut them or something.

i think there was a TSIB out for it in the past.

have them look at it.

hey jack, unfortunately they will not do it out of goodwill as I asked them already =(, It's funny because they don't even have the slightest clue where to look till I told them about the TSB. I figured I could try to do it myself, since it's not so involved like the front clips. Any cut the rear winshield clips yet?

I found a 2008 GS 460 with 1700 miles (yes you are reading correctly) at a dealer. It has been a demo, but has been listed for sale at least 7 months. They are asking $48,995. I want this car, but it does have most of the rattles per 2 test drives. What do you think is a good price knowing I am going to spend time fixing this car. KBB is $50k. It is NOT being sold Certified.

Simply wedging some pieces of soft black pencil eraser helped my minor dash rattles a lot.

I think the remainder are the windshield clips which someday I keep meaning to saw off per the TSB (at least the bottom ones...).

I love my GS but am very disappointed at the amount of creaking I get from my console. It only gets worse the more they try to fix it so I have given up. Lexus should be doing a much better job in designing an interior in a car of this caliber.
