Default GS350 Lease Rates

I dropped by my local Lexus dealer on Friday, and they had a lease "special", with payments of $575/mo. with $5,000 cap cost reduction/fees on a $50k GS350 (Nav, no Lev). I was wondering what sort of lease deals others on this board were getting. I would appreciate any information that you might have.

I don't know what lease rates currently are but I do know NEVER put any money down (cap cost) on a lease. You should walk out paying first month's payment and misc bank fees (assuming you have a great FICO score).

Exactly! Never put any capital cost reduction money. If this is a 3-year lease, $575 + $138 ($5,000 divided by 36) is too high of a payment.

On a '07 GS with Nav (no ML), I would guess a 12 yr/36K lease would hover between $660 - $690/mo (depending on residual and money factor).

Thanks for the information and advice, guys. I'm going to go back and see what the figures are without a big down payment.

fuenfer,

How did the figures come out?

Also, are you guys including tax, tag, & lease assumption fee into your payments because they seem a little low.

I haven't been back to the dealership yet -- I got a nasty cold over the past weekend and have been taking it easy. I did call a couple of dealerships, one of whom promised to send me some figures, but I haven't received any information yet.

I'll keep you guys up to date regarding our search.
