It really looks to be no different than the vais tech unit except its certified by apple...still goes behind unit along with connector and then cable to be run wherever you will have your IPOD. But it is a lot cheaper than the Vais Tech unit..so a good option as I am about to buy something for the IPOD..

^^ from reading that article it just stated all current Toyota and Lexus vehicles. I didnt go in depth to check it further. I would think it should work. I'd be interested too. but with the MP3 CD changer, man it's a waste.

Here is one for you folks:
Just got off the phone with Sewell Lexus about my order for routine maintenance items and I asked if they knew anything about the iPod adapter talked about here. He said that they were working on getting an adapter released from Lexus' European network and had not yet verified if it would indeed work on our U.S. cars. Interesting. He also mentioned that the unit would cost 600 pounds!
I don't know about you folks but don't you think $700+ USD is a bit steep?
