Default New wheels mounted

Well, I got the new wheels put on today and the disappointment just doesn't stop. The wheels don't clear that huge caliper on the front of the car. I'm sure they would clear an 06 but as you all know, the 07 has a bigger caliper. Right now there is a spacer but it's causing some slight vibration. I don't want any vibration............none! It's not constant but it's recurring.
I really like the look but these are not gonna work. The guys at the wheel shop want to shae a couple mm off the brakes but I don't do things like that. I've seen them do it on Benzes and Bimmers but I don't do things like that. I've already called the people I bought them from and they agreed to take them back. I had to yell and scream but they agreed.
Anyway, I took a couple quick pics.

At least I found out 2 things, chrome is definitely the right finish for GFM color and 20's are the right size.

And one more thing, 245-35-20 is the right tire size. Only rubbing is on dips.

If the fit was perfect, would you be happy keeping those??? 5 spokes look nice on this car but these ones dont complement as well as others, what do you think ?

The pics don't do these wheels justice. The groove cut down the middle of the spokes causes lots of reflection and interferes with clear drisp pics. Everyone at the wheel shop took notice. There were cars there with wheels costing 5-40K and I was getting props. This one guy with 10K one-off custom wheels on his S550, I've seen him there 3 times...this is the first time he came over to give props. A fellow CL member was there, he loved it. The techs loved. The sales guys gave props. I'm telling you, they look better in person. Yes, I would keep them if they fit right.

I haven't chosen what's next. I'm looking at their website for other brands. Thinking about Bose Forged but hate waiting 4-6 weeks. Thinking about MRR cause they are great quality cast. I don't know what to get.

They sure look good reggie but you are a very particular person... it has to be done right no cutting corners..LOL So what is needed to clear the front calipers? A high disk Wheel.. MMR has some great quality wheels and designs.. GL..

The only MRR I'd get is the GT1. I think mesh looks cool.

The front brake caliper issue is my biggest problem. I don't want to order wheels and they don't clear the caliper.

When are you doing it, someone needs to be a guinea pig.
Looks like we almost have to do custom wheels with that stock BBK. I'm tempted to keep the wheels and change to the 06 caliper.

Well, if keep reading this site everyday I probably have it in a few days...this forum creates so much temptation. Also, I'm having to start dropping a few hints around to my wife about new rims..not the most exciting thing on her list for me to get so its a little bit of a challenge...but since its bonus time for me coming up I have a little more pull right now I can use the ole trick that I need new tires anyway so a good time to do it...

I am getting quotes on the MRR Chrome GT1's as we speak. I would probably put on Pirellis on these wheels...I can't stand my Yokos and with 16K on my car now probably not more than 5K left anyway. I just want something new (in chrome for me) but don't want to spend a ton doing it...I really like the Sevas and the IForge Daytona but a little more than I want to spend.
