OVERRIDE DVD on LEXUS GS350
Currently I can watch a DVD on my Mark Levinson system IF THE CAR IS IN PARK WITH THE PARKING BREAK ON. How can rig the car to allow me to watch while driving. (Not for the driver, for the passangers) I understand the safety aspect. Thanks group.

It's in the DIY thread.
If you search for "DVD hack", many similar posts should come up as well.
Basically take apart the center console to gain access to the back of the navi unit then ground one yellow wire for parking brake signal, then by-pass the speed signal (one purple wire and one white wire with silver dots) and you're good to go!

There's got to be an on-screen procedure (like the 06 model)...we just havent found it yet. Somewhere there is someone who knows the regimen. This is a challenge people........find him!
